On Oct. 26, Joseph K. Baldwin, age 76, passed away peacefully at the Aurora House in Spencerport New York. Joe fought a brave battle with cancer and he ended his life's journey surrounded by family.
He is survived by his sister Beth Wickham (James), sons Floyd (Skizz) Baldwin (Diane), and Greg Baldwin (Michele), Grandson's Michael and Charles Baldwin, niece Kristina Wickham (Jason), nephew Jon Wickham, and Great Nieces Emily and Madison DeVore.
Joe was an Author, Photographer, Artist, and Historian. He had a passion for vintage cars, customizing model cars and photographing car races. He gave freely of his time as a volunteer for the suicide prevention line, and taught literacy prison inmates. The sixties found Joe in the service, Postwar in Korea. Joe was a life-long resident of Trumansburg New York.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to either the Ulysses Historical Society of Trumansburg or Aurora House of Spencerport New York.
The family would like to express their sincere thank you for all the ongoing love, support, prayers and lemon meringue pies.
The celebration of Joe's life, will be on Saturday, Nov. 4, at 12 to 2 p.m. at the Ulysses Historical Society of Trumansburg.
