Update: Both children have been found safely.
Ithaca Police are asking for the public's help in finding a 15 year old girl who hasn't been seen for several hours. The girl, named Shawna Reese, has been diagnosed with autism, increasing the significance of the situation, the police said in a press release.
Reese was last seen leaving the area of 150 West Village Place at 3:15 p.m. on Nov. 21. The police said there is no evidence that Reese was the victim of a crime, and she was last seen walking towards Elm Street alone.
"She is described as a light complected African American female, 5'2" tall and 170 lbs," the release states. "She was last seen wearing all black clothing."
No other information was available at this time.
