TCAT buses lined up on Green Street. 

TCAT will be operating a special “Rte. 13FM” bus service from Cornell University to the Ithaca Farmers Market on Oct. 13. The new route will provide hourly service to and from Cornell’s campus and the market, and all points in between, during the market hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

The new route will depart from the Hasbrouck Apartments at three minutes after the hour from 10:03 a.m. through 2:03 p.m. It will be making stops at Milstein Hall, Baker Flagpole; Seneca @ Commons; and @ Third @ Hancock before arriving at the Aldi/ Farmers Market stop at 25 minutes after the hour. Following this, the bus will depart the Aldi/Farmers Market stop at 31 minutes after the hour from 10:31 a.m. through 2:31 p.m., arriving back at the Hasbrouck Apartments at 3 p.m. 

Mike Smith, TCAT’s assistant general manager, who oversees TCAT’s operations, said the 13FM service is only this Sunday, but that he hopes it will become a regular route starting in the spring of 2020.
