Starting on January 19, TCAT’s winter-spring service will go into effect with primarily minor changes and a return to full operations following reduced service during the holiday break. This new schedule will remain in place until May 23. Passengers are advised to check online or printed schedules for changes to ensure when they need to be at their stops.
As a part of the new schedule, TCAT will begin serving only designated stops in the villages of Trumansburg, Dryden, and Groton. This won’t change service to regular rural service flag zone areas, including the trips to and from Trumansburg, Dryden, and Groton, or any of TCAT’s other routes with flag zone areas.
There will be no changes made to routes 10, 11S, 14, 15, 30, 32, 51, 52, 53, 65, 70, 72, 81, 83, 83W, 90 and 92. Rte. 10 will continue using Stewart Ave. Rte. 30 and 51 will continue to run on College Ave. until early spring. Minor adjustments will be made to improve efficiency on routes 11, 11N, 13, 14S, 17, 20, 21, 31, 36, 37, 43, 67, 74, 75, 77, 82 and 93.
Passengers are urged to check new schedules as trips have been adjusted earlier.
