Police crime tape

On Nov. 26, at 11:54 p.m., Ithaca Police officers responded to reports of shots fired on the 200 block of W. Spencer Street. Officers located shell casings and a house that was struck by six bullets from the incident. The officers spoke with several residents of W. Spencer St. who reported hearing multiple gunshots.

One witness heard gunshots and observed a small vehicle fleeing southwest on W. Spencer St. At this time, officers have not been able to located a victim or suspect at the scene. The Ithaca Police Department launched an investigation into the incident. Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact IPD.

Remember that show in the late 90s - Early Edition? Guy named "Gary" gets tomorrow's newspaper today, and tries to right as many future wrongs as possible. I don't know why reading about something that happened around midnight on the 26th at 11AM on the 26th reminded me of that. Weird.
