I voted Sticker

Election season is upon us again, but this year there's a special surprise. You can start voting now!

As a matter of fact, you could have started voting last Saturday, and up until this Sunday, Nov. 3. As part of New York State's new early voting laws, anyone who is registered to vote in New York State, and who has resided in Tompkins County for at least 30 days, can participate in early voting.

All you have to do is head to the designated locations, which are the Town of Ithaca Town Hall at 215 N. Tioga Street in Ithaca, or the Crash Fire Rescue (CFR) Building at 72 Brown Road in Ithaca. Including today, the following hours are when early voting is eligible:

  • Wednesday, 10/30 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Thursday, 10/31 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Friday, 11/1 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Saturday, 11/2 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Sunday, 11/3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Early voting ends on Nov. 3, then the general election will be held the following Tuesday, on Nov. 5.
