While winter is just around the corner, spring is in the air for the Ithaca Gardening club. Fashion and flowers can be found during the Ithaca Gardening Club's Fashion Show and Luncheon at 10:30 a.m. This event is a fundraiser that will be held at Jane Morgan's Little House with raffles, a cash bar, followed by the luncheon and fashion show. All proceeds from this event will go to support numerous projects in the community that encourage conservation and enhancement of the local natural resources in the area. Tickets are $40 for the luncheon and fashion show which can be purchased on the Gardening Club's website.
Ithaca Falls becomes the scene of a wry comedy in the latest production at the Kiplinger Theatre in the Schwartz Performing Arts Center. "The Next Storm" takes a look at the local impact of climate change and what that means for the future. The play is created by playwright Thom Dunn. Productions are Nov. 15, 15, 22, and 23; all beginning at 7:30 p.m. There will be a special 2 p.m. performance on Nov. 23. Tickets are $18 for adults and $12 for Cornell students, alumni, faculty and staff.
